How Patrol works in Edenderry
Prepared, not alarmed
Short, structured posts about things that matter locally — a missing pet, a road hazard, a scam doing the rounds, something suspicious. No names, plates or accusations.
Local by design
Each member sets roughly where they live, rounded to about 100 metres. Alerts come from within about 2km — your neighbourhood, not the whole district.
Grows by neighbours
Members invite the households around them. Around 10 nearby is where it becomes properly useful; residents’ groups can activate a whole estate with one link.
Not an emergency service
Patrol is independent and is not the Gardaí. In an emergency ring 999 or 112.
