Delete your Patrol account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from your dashboard. It is a real deletion rather than a deactivation, and the Patrol app and the website share the same account, so deleting it once removes it everywhere.
How to do it
- Sign in at patrol.ie. In the Android app, open Profile and tap Delete Account.
- On your dashboard, open Settings and choose Delete my account.
- Enter your password to confirm. This stops anyone using a phone you left signed in from deleting it for you.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number and Eircode.
- Every post you have made. These are removed from your neighbours' feeds too, because a post carries your name and you can no longer edit or withdraw it once you have gone.
- Your invite link, and the record of who joined through it.
It cannot be undone, and we will not email you asking you to come back.
Business accounts and problems
A business account is separate and is deleted from the business dashboard. If you cannot sign in, have forgotten your password, or the deletion does not work, email hello@patrol.ie from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
